Roman ruins, churches and yellow cobblestone streets. What to see and do if you only have one day in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. 

A friend recently told me that she would be in my hometown, Sofia, for a day and asked for recommendations. Excited about her upcoming trip (very few of my friends have been to Bulgaria), I put together a sample itinerary with sightseeing and dining tips and published it in The Huffington Post.
